As can be seen from the information below Mel Bazil is really pushing the race hate card hard, and doing so under the guise of being Wet’suwet’en. In a paternal society the sur name is passed on to children, so we know Mel Bazil’s father must have been Wet’suwet’en and his father must be one of the children of the Lucy Bazil family, members include Violet Gellenbeck, Sandra Martin Harris, Charlotte Euverman, Lillian Granley (same family) all nee Bazil’s.
Now consider that both the Gitxsan and Wet’suwet’en are both matrilineal societies, then Mel Bazil follows his mothers side and is not a Wet’suwet’en, but a Gitxsan sowing race hate.
