Regarding the screenshot above. “Franklin Lopez is the mastermind behind the Wet’suwet’en Pipeline Wars.
There was no Wet’suwet’en resistance, it was a carefully laid plan by a man who lives in in Montreal.
Going back to where it all began, Franklin Lopez brought his newly released film “End Game” to (click here to see the film.) and see for yourself, where Franklin Lopez quotes Derrick Jensen an American psychopath says “there is an urgent need to bring down civilization” at the 4:50 mark on that film. Then moments later talks about aboriginals starving to death because we did not remove the dams that are killing all our salmon. So why am I talking about this film?
The one thing that always amused me about these fanatics is their incessant need to brag about their exploits. In a sort of confessions of an anarchist, Franklin Lopez reminisces about he fathered the Unist’ot’en Clan let me quote ““The Wet’suwet’en” in those days basically meant three people: Freda Huson, Toghestiy (now known as Chief Dini Ze Smogelgem), and Mel Bazil, all determined to protect the Wedzin Kwa River from potential pipeline ruptures. It all started in 2011, Lopex comes to Smithers and meets with Freda and all those she could muster to watch this film.
Before we go on I want to talk about Chief Dini Ze Smogelgem in the civilized world know as Warner Naziel. We all now know he was banned from both Molly’s camp and Freda’s camp for doing things we are not allowed to talk about, to people who went to those camps, people we are not allowed to talk about, and whereas if anyone else had committed those crimes, we would be serving time in jail. Yet to date nobody has been arrested for crimes committed in those camps, by other people in those camps, because no matter how hideous the crime, nothing will get these two leaders to open a dialogue with RCMP about those complaints. Is it because if Molly or Freda talk, then those guilty will also reveal truths that neither Molly or Freda want the police to know about?
All this in a published memoir called “Water, Land, and Freedom: My Journey Through a Decade of Pipeline Resistance on the Yintah and Beyond”
As we work our way through the confession by Franklin Lopez we copied it in case they deed to ditch the post if it backfires on them. What we can prove is that the fake Smogelgem and at that time his wife Freda, and courting the cause was Mel Bazil. We should add that since that time we discovered that Mel is actually Gitxsan by way of matrilineal linage. His great grandmother was Gitxsan. At this time Molly was not even part of this devious game Lopez was creating.
Lopez goes on to say “We started off screening END:CIV in Witset (then Moricetown) and Smithers, the nearby settler town. At the time, a major focus of my film work was decolonization and climate change—so the timing couldn’t have been better. Like many informed people, I believed that if we didn’t halt oil and gas production, our planet would face catastrophic climate chaos.”
Lopez continues “During that first visit, I started filming. I talked with Freda, Toghestiy, and Mel, capturing some of the earliest footage from Unist’ot’en Camp. Those interviews would form part of my short doc, Oil Gateway, which laid out the bigger picture: the tangle of pipelines threatening so-called British Columbia.”
“I promised to return to the yintah. By 2012, the Unist’ot’en Camp had grown from that one cabin into a bustling center for resistance. I was humbled to see around 150 people attend the action camp, with many mentioning they first learned about Unist’ot’en through Oil Gateway. ”
Then comes the final piece of the puzzle. “In 2012, I met filmmaker Sam Vinal of Mutual Aid Media, who was already passionate about the Unist’ot’en struggle. He wanted to make a full-length doc, but my style—rapid release and share —didn’t mesh with the slower festival and grant world. Sam, along with his then-partner, Alexandra Kotcheff, decided to immerse themselves in the yintah, filming extensively at Unist’ot’en. That laid the groundwork for what would become Yintah the film —and kicked off a decade-long collaboration between me and Sam.”
So in a nutshell, Yintah was never a Wet’suwet’en project, it was an anarchists dream.

Clearly the media was complicit in making it sound like a nation objecting to Oil and Gas but the evidence shows it was all part of a plan by Franklin Lopex. Read this article for more evidence CBC set to help fund, air “anarchist’s” documentary about Coastal GasLink “Filmmaker Franklin Lopez has a history of platforming videos that are one-sided and promote violence“.
“Canada’s national broadcaster has confirmed it will air and help fund a documentary on the conflict over the Coastal GasLink pipeline (CGL), a film being produced by a self-described “anarchist.”
“While there is nothing unusual about the federally funded CBC supporting the documenting of a story of national interest, the track record and public statements of Franklin Lopez and others behind the film Yintah raises questions about their commitment to portraying the story accurately.” “In his mediaburn.org discussion, Lopez says much of the credit for the success of the opposition to CGL is due to the videos he and his colleagues have produced.“
We also ran that story way back in “Did CBC just team up with a terrorist?” back in Dec 2021
I would like to close with this thought. How could we as Canadians allow ourselves to be so manipulated? Maybe the only solution is to tell those whom we elect, to come here and read what is going on in our backyard, and consider legislation that would prevent this kind of manipulation of voters, considering how many of us were duped by this con artist.
People like Franklin Lopez are not visionaries, they are domestic terrorists.
And let’s not forget how hundreds of people broke the law, and how they all got off the hook, as if the BC Goverment was condoning what they were doing, while the media talked about wasting millions of dollars protecting industry that is the bread and butter that our province runs on. Let’s also not forget how dangerous it is when goverment funds the media, as we have seen in the last decade. Its time people serve their time for the crimes they commit, its not the police who screwed all of this up, it was the attorney general and those working for him.
So when Canada announced “B.C. RCMP say they have begun using a Black Hawk helicopter to patrol the United States border as part of efforts to stop smuggling and illegal crossings.” We do hope they will also use them on all future pipelines where there is potential for terrorist attacks like this, read the following article “A law for them and a law for us. is this what Canada has degraded into?“
