Warner Naziel – Blockader Profile – Viewpoint from the North

Warner Naziel was one of the original blockaders who helped found the Unist’ot’en clan with his wife Freda Huson. For all intensive purposes the Unist’ot’en never really existed until the blockaders needed a name.

Keep in mind these so called “land defenders” are all just pawns of Franklin Lopez The secret operative behind the internal war in the Wet’suwet’en family.

Prior to that date somewhere around 2005 or earlier, the clan name was Gil_seyhu and there were three house groups in it. Yex T’sa, Yex T’sa Wilk’us and Kayex. The name of this particular house group was the Dark House or Yex T’sa Wilk’us but certainly not as catchy as using their new buzz word Unist’ot’en. Imagine trying to sell the world on “Yex T’sa Wilk’us” try say that one out loud.

To sum it up in a nutshell the Unist’ot’en as a people is the creation of Warner and Freda, it never existed before they coined the name, there was a similar name used by a original Hereditary Chief Sylvester William during the the Delgamuukw hearings, it was the name Oonis to d’en family ( Tiljoe, Laytons, Joseph) also meaning the Dark House clan.

Even if back them the Office of Wet’suwet’en thought they were bat crazy and wanted nothing to do with them. (Oh how times change)

Hats off to them, the press took it hook line and sinker, a great job deserves credit, even if it was just an anarchists dream. They were able to get both the his and hers families to back them up and here we are today, the Unist’ot’en clan has become an internationally known clan. Even if those with short memories think it was since time immemorial (one generation back) thier kid is now an adult, and wants nothing to do with the life Freda lives out there, Who knows, maybe that too will change one day.

To sum it up in a nutshell the Unist’ot’en as a people is the creation of Warner and Freda, it never existed before they coined the name.

Note Waner and Freda are no longer together as a couple and Warner moved out of the Unist’ot’en Camp. Warner has now paired up with Adam Gagnon to create their own little paradise out of the property of the Tsaiyex house group (Sun house) to which neither Adam or Warner are a member of. (see birth records below) It seems that the Office of Wet’suwet’en has a history of eliminating the traditional practices of the Wet’suwet’en Nation and replaces it with a new one rewritten by the gang of five old men.

Yex T’sa Wilk’us was known as the “Dark House” with Chief Knedebeas (Warner William) as the head of his House Group. Note there are 3 Hereditary Chiefs, one for each house group. The Unist’ot’en as said above was a creation of collaboration back around 2005 or possibly even earlier.

Freda and Warner at that time were a couple, and together planned to blockades the pipeline in late 2004 or early 2005. we want to point out Warner Naziel was not a member of that clan, Warner is a member of the Owl House of the Laksamshu (Fireweed) clan, so he was always taking a supporting role until his falling out with Freda.

A good primer on the Unist’ot’en was written by one of their members here I am a Wet’suwet’en man from the dark house. This is an important read as it explains how a man stole a woman’s Hereditary Title meaning that Warner William has a stolen blanket (title and property) as well. The writer goes on to say quote “Most of the 5 have been fierce loggers with huge capital and machines killing and hauling logs since the 60s and 70s and well into the new millennium. They have made millions of dollars logging trees, sitting on board with Canfor and benefiting. Did anyone else in the house group benefit? NOPE. When the forest and range agreements were signed back in the 80’s where were the 5? Oh logging! Why the sudden interest in pipeline activism?” I want to jog your memory on how both Adam and Warner complain about the moonscaping of land out on the Morice West Forest Service road and areas subject to the blockaders.

Warner Naziel has been the subject of many articles on this website, that prove not only that Warner is not the legitimate Smogelgem, he also has two separate reasons to explain why and how he became Smogelgem.

Note “TITLE” in TWO Houses, sorry but there is no Wet’suwet’en rule that permits a member to do that.

You see prior to the event in Houston, Warner Naziel was already, years before actually telling people he was the legitimate Smogelgem. In fact his second reason was that Gloria was stripped of he title for that meeting her and two other Hereditary Chiefs organized, Warner made the mistake of attending that denunciation already wearing the Smogelgem blanket, both Warner and Freda went in to condemn Chief Sogelgem while Warner was already wearing the Smogelgem title blanket.

One interesting note is that despite his ever vocal opinions on what is going on, he has always kept himself safe from being arrested and allowed all those around him to take the fall so he could crow about how he verbally defends them all. One would think that he would at least get arrested once, just to prove that he is man enough to do what he expects of others.

Lets go back in time look at what Warner Naziel said to the Globe and Mail. Feb 26, 2019

“Mr. Naziel said Ms. George crossed the line when she aligned her herself with Coastal GasLink. “After we realized that she was representing herself to government and industry, including Coastal Gaslink, as both having the authority of a head chief and also the backing of the clan, our clan held a feast and formally rescinded the name Smogelgem,” said Mr. Naziel, who laid claim to the title in 2016. “All of the hereditary chiefs of my clan, including me, witnessed this and spoke.”

The event is on the second half of the video we posted below. So how was it possible for him to attend that meeting the led to the women being stripped already wearing the Smogelgem blanket? Warner Naziel is referring to at the 7:15 mark of the video, the meeting on June 30th in Moricetown (now Witset)

Take special notice at the 0:49 second mark of that video. (screenshot below)Warner Naziel entered that meeting held by the Wet’suwet’en Matrilineal Coalition (WMC) wearing the Sunhouse Smogelgem blanket. So if you think this was not a premeditated theft of title, its time you look at history once more.

So its OK for Chief Kloum Khun, Alphonse Gagnon’s wife to work with CGL and the hideous shooting neighbours dogs by John Ridsdale is perfectly ok.

“Prosecutor Kristina King said the Crown might normally have asked for a jail term because the circumstances were “so serious,” but mitigating factors justified the three-year suspended sentence instead.”

But women dealing directly with CGL requries the loss of Hereditary Title? Or is it blatant in the face robbery of those titles?

Even though these women carry exactly the same authority of John Ridsdale and the other male chiefs. It does beg the question was the transfer of titles even legal under Wet’suwet’en Law?

Definitely there is no legal grounds under Canadian Law begging the question of what the hell is wrong with our government, both federal and provincial? Why are they negotiating with people who cannot even prove they legitimately have the titles they claim to have?

For the sake of clarity we are attaching the Matrilineal lineage of Alphonse and Warner Naziel, showing its not possible for Warner to jump clan titles.

From a previous story we have even more conclusive evidence that Warner Naziel is not eligible to take a Sun House title we add the following from the testimony given during the Delgamuukw trial, screenshot given from testimony regarding this very issue.

It is only given after the Hereditary chief is dead, and it must be a person from the same house, and Warner Naziel is from the Owl House as the birth records above show. Smogelgem is from the Sun House, Warner is NOT eligible period, he is a fraud.

Mable Forsythe is the mother of Lucy Gagnon who is married to Alphonse Gagnon who has a brother named Adam Gagnon and a sister name Jane Tommy who has a son name Warner Naziel. Then in a not so legitimate adoption, Mable Forsythe adopted Molly Wickham who is the sister of Jennifer Wickham.

Blockaders so called Freedom of the Press

In the case of a reporter with the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, who was banned over an interview with a Wet’suwet’en Head Hereditary Chief because that chief supported the pipeline.

In a Facebook post, user Dini Ze Smogelgem, Hereditary Chief of the Laksamshu Clan, one of the five clans of Wet’suwe’ten Nation, also known as Warner Naziel, posted a photo and circled Hamelin’s name, saying she had been banned from reporting on the standoff with CGL after she wrote an article quoting Helen Michelle, who claims to be a hereditary chief.
