The Wun Feather Collection

Introduction

Every now and then you come across someone that enters your life and opens your eyes in a way only a truly unique individual can. I scrolled back over his Facebook posts and found countless gems that I am sure many of you would enjoy. In fact we found so many of them we decided to open a complete section of entries he made over the last few years. Wun Feather was born and raised in our region so he is a local (from Terrace) before moving to Alberta.

This man should write a book, but likely is far too humble and too busy enjoying life to be cornered that long. One of the most amazing Indians (Canadian) that I have ever (still to meet). Enough said, enjoy his wit, humor and genuine understanding of the natural habitat of our great nation. His wisdom is something we can all appreciate and share. Other than a few spelling typos, we will post his insights verbatim as they are on his Facebook wall. The post dates will range from 2018 to current.

There are actually many more that we read that were not posted as public, so with respect we did not publish any that were expressly for those on his friends list.

There are many more great reads on his Facebook profile, We tried to get the ones we felt were most fitting to our website.

STOP THE RACISM AND HATE

Grand Theft Wet’suwet’en

The protesting hooligans are anarchists & obstructionists trying to tear down the social fabric of our communities. The real Wet’suwet’en elders are being ignored, their ways are being ignored, and their title names are being stolen by anarchists.

Do not be fooled by fake hereditary chiefs using stolen names.
